COMPETITIVE EXAMS / JEE MAIN (EARLIER AIEEE)​​

JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (MAIN) –2021

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE (Main)-2021 Examination four times for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), etc. in the next academic year (2021-2022).

JEE MAIN 2021 EXAM DATES

SESSION 1- FEBRUARY 23 to 26,2021

Exam Day

SESSION 2- MARCH 15 to 18,2021

SESSION 3- MARCH 27 to 30,2021

SESSION 4- MAY 24 to 28,2021

As per the eligibility criteria for B.Arch and B.Planning courses and according to the opinion of Subject Experts, a few changes in the pattern of the question paper(s) and number of question(s) for B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning have been approved by the JEE Apex Board (JAB) for the conduct of JEE (Main)-2021 Examination.

The pattern of question paper(s) is given below:

The above Examinations will be held in “Computer Based Test” (CBT) Mode only, except that the Drawing Test for B.Arch. will be held in “Pen & Paper” (offline) mode. A candidate may appear in B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning depending upon the course/s he/she wishes to pursue.

The candidates aspiring to take admission to the undergraduate programs at IITs for the year 2020 will also have to appear in B. E. /B. Tech. Paper of JEE (Main)-2020. Based on the performance in the B.E./B. Tech. of JEE (Main)-2020, number of top candidates as per the requirement for JEE (Advanced) 2020 will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)- 2020.Admission to IITs will be based on category -wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE(Advanced),subject to the conditions as would be mentioned in JEE(Advanced)-2020 Website.

Candidates, who desire to appear in January JEE (Main) –2020, may see the detailed Information Bulletin available on the website www.nta.ac.in. and apply for the same only online between 03.09.2019 (Tuesday) and 30.09.2019 (Monday). The fees can be paid only online up to 01.10.2019(Tuesday).
